Famous quites from famous (or not) people can be interpreted in lots of ways, I'm reminded myself as I mull over a completely different one. But these spoke to me, this morning: "Pure love and suspicion cannot dwell together: at the door where the latter enters, the former makes its exit." and
"There is nothing more galling to angry people than the coolness of those on whom they wish to vent their spleen."
(which gives me some measure of comfort when I'm clinging desperately to what I consider to be the "high road") Both from Alexandre Dumas, père, 1802 - 1870
I subscribe to both "Quotes of the Day" (which arrives as often as it can be managed), and "A Word a Day", which comes every weekday, and also includes a quote. Both listadmins encourage copies to be forwarded elsewhere, with subscription information and copyright notice. I seldom forward the entire day's offering, but if you're interested in either list, just let me know. Current Location: Pagancentral Current Mood: pensive
